Young women using ADHD medicine up 700 percent over 8 years, CDC report finds As reported by ABC News, “The number of women in their late 20s who filled a prescription for attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) medicine skyrocketed by 700 percent between 2003 and 2015, according to a report released today by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.”

These findings have prompted a discussion regarding the need for more research into how these medications may affect pregnant women.
